The God of the Impossible

Are you facing the impossible? Today my heart is broken over a seemingly impossible situation some of my family members are facing. But I truly believe in the God for Whom nothing is impossible.

Have you ever really looked at a sewing needle? The older I get the smaller they eye of the needle gets. Not that I do a lot of sewing, in fact I almost never sew if I can help it. But when I'm desperate (or want to help my granddaughter 😉) I will pull out my sewing machine. I know you're thinking I've gone off in a totally different direction here, but stick with me. Last year for Christmas we got our granddaughter a young person's sewing machine (it was on her Christmas list, I promise). Within the sewing kit was a wonderful invention--a needle threader. I had never used one before, but I thought, "what a wonderful thing for small fingers just learning to sew." Little did I realize at the time, but it is also a wonderful thing for my old eyes unable to see well. For me, this was nothing short of a miracle!

However, and here's where we circle back to the topic at hand, miracles come in different shapes and sizes. While my miracle was so very small in comparison to the impossible situations we sometimes face, a miracle is a miracle, is a miracle. Don't sell God short. Ask Him for the desire of your heart in your seemingly impossible situation. Sometimes He answers in the exact way we think we need, but mostly He answers in a way we couldn't even imagine. Watch for your miracle--with Him nothing

is impossible!
