Prayer--God's Vehicle

What a precious gift—the prayers of a friend. I have people who pray for me and I can’t even begin to tell you how blessed I feel to know someone is bringing my name before the Father.

I also have people I regularly bring to my Father’s heart. I know how much He loves them and wants the very best He has to give for them. Why God has chosen our prayer to be the vehicle that moves His hand I do not know, but His Word tells us that it is so.

Do you have someone who brings your name to the Father’s attention? You may not even realize it, but I suspect it is so. The wonderful thing is that His precious Holy Spirit brings people to our minds to pray for when we might not even know they’re in need. However, if you do not KNOW you have someone praying I want to encourage you to get involved in a small group, a Bible study, something with people who pray so you can know you’re covered when you’re in need.

On the converse, do you have people you pray for on a regular basis? Prayer doesn’t have to be in any particular format—you’re just talking with Daddy God. He knows your heart. Don’t know what to pray? Simply begin by asking for His blessing on them. As you just talk to Him about the ways you’d like to see them blessed He may bring other things to mind and you can just add those to your prayer.

I am praying for you today my friend, that God will make you strong, perfect and fully confident in Him. Blessings to you today.
