Life can sometimes be messy. But is messy always bad? I look at these messy little fingers--what might those fingers touch o(><)o Or maybe what masterpiece might this little fingers make?
How about your messy? What beautiful masterpiece might the Master have planned for you? Oftentimes, it is all in the perspective. I once heard an example that illustrates this beautifully. Have you ever seen those amazing oriental rugs? On the top side is a tapestry beyond amazing, but the underneath...before it's completed? It's a bunch of tangled threads that have no apparent design, no rhyme, nor reason. Much as our messy lives at times. We see the underneath side. Our perspective is skewed. But the Master? He sees the top side, the completed design--what it's meant to be.
Jesus came that we might have life, and have it to the full. He plans for your abundance. So while you're fixated on the tangled threads He is already seeing the completed masterpiece. Be patient. Allow Him to work in your circumstances. Trust in His faithful goodness.
